Last weekend, I shared my weaving heartache with you. It made me feel better to talk about the lessons learned from the mistakes I made. I’m over it now. Smiling again at the loom.
This week American’s celebrate Thanksgiving. I thought it a perfect time to say Thank You to Jim.
I am so very blessed. I have a wonderful husband I adore. I have been in love with him for 20 years – from the very first day I met him. A blind date that ended up a gift from heaven.
He spoils me, constantly. No matter what I ask or need, he’s always there to make me happy. His smile lights my world.
Two weeks ago, he finished my birthday loom. He did such a beautiful job staining it and making it special for me. Last week I just whined about the project that sat on it and neglected to show you what he had done. Spoiled, yet again.
I’ve made peace with the blanket that caused me grief last week. It’s actually quite pretty, if not perfect.
Sitting at my loom today with great music and a project that is weaving well, I’m thankful for all of my blessings. With each slip of the shuttle through beautiful threads, I smile and think about how this special man has woven himself into my life. May I make him as happy as he makes me.Tampa, Weaving
